We are thrilled to announce the 2023 Australian Pride in Health + Wellbeing Awards.
This event recognises the achievements across the health, wellbeing, human services, and community care sector, measured through the Health + Wellbeing Equality Index (HWEI). Previously we had celebrated with Pride in Diversity at the Australian LGBTQ Inclusion Awards, but we are now celebrating separately.
Celebrating best practice, innovation, and person-centered care, awards will be given to the Gold Service Providers, Most Improved Service Provider, and the much anticipated, Service Provider of the Year.
We will also announce our individual awards, HWEI Health Ally Award, HWEI Out Role-Model Award, and the HWEI Health Innovation Award.

IMPORTANT TICKET INFORMATION
- All prices displayed exclude GST and will be added at checkout;
- Ticket sales will close on Wednesday 29th of March at 4pm AEDT, unless sold out prior;
- Any cancellations must be received in writing. For cancellations received before Wednesday 1 March 2023, a full refund will be issued. For cancellations received between Wednesday 8th of March 2023 – Wednesday 22nd of March 2023, a 50% refund will be issued. No refunds will be provided after this period.
LGBTQ+ Ally Award
This nomination recognises the outstanding contribution of an individual within your organisation who does not personally identify as LGBTQ+, but who has made a significant contribution to LGBTQ+ inclusion for staff and service users within your organisation and across the health, wellbeing and human services sector.
LGBTQ+ Role Model Award
This nomination is for an “out” LGBTQ+ individual within your organisation, who has actively advocated for and promoted an outstanding contribution to LGBTQ+ inclusion within the organisation and/or for service users, patients, and clients.
It celebrates role models for being visible to our community.
LGBTQ+ Inclusive Innovation Award
This nomination celebrates the innovation we see in LGBTQ+ inclusion initiatives across the sector.
Due to the wide variety of services and organisational size, innovation is often required to ensure LGBTQ+ inclusion is appropriate to the industry, region, and client cohort.
