Collectively, the state and territory governments have the largest workforces in Australia. They deliver most of the critical services to our communities and have endeavoured to execute LGBTQ inclusion strategies to attract and retain the very best in the public service.
The State of Inclusion webinar will include experienced panellists covering such topics as:
• building a holistic, measured approach
• building a government-wide employee network
• the role of an executive champion
• ensuring inclusion reaches regional and remote public servants
• the key topic of intersectionality, especially for our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities
We have brought together some of the best practitioners and advocates for LGBTQ workplace inclusion to share their experience and learnings, including Gelina Talbot (NSW Police Force), Bob Smith (Queensland Department of Education), Elena Callipari (Victorian Department of Health & Human Services), Zoe Kennedy (NSW Public Service Commission), and Janita Valentine (Queensland Department of Education).
Listen to the conversation here. For Pride Inclusion Program members this can also be found in our Vimeo collection via the members portal.
