HWEI Submission

This page is dedicated to resources, materials and relevant supporting collateral for participating organisations.

HWEI Foundation Submission

This part of the submission is an application for Bronze Tier Status within the current iteration (2024 โ€“ 2028). If you have already obtained this status within the current iteration, there is no need to complete this component; and you may focus on your HWEI Advanced Submission. If you are unsure, please reply to this email or speak with your Relationship Manager.

Submitters must obtain Bronze Tier Status within the Foundation Submission in order to successfully submit the Advanced Submission.

Pride in Health + Wellbeing member organisations can now fast-track their Foundation results and submit for Bronze at any time between 1 June 2026 โ€“ 1 December 2026.

HWEI Advanced Submission

This part of the submission is an application for Silver or Gold Tier Status, covering work completed between 1st January 2026 โ€“ 31st December 2026.

This application can be completed and submitted between Monday, 11 January 2027 โ€“ Monday, 1 February 2027.

HWEI Collaboration Worksheets

This Excel workbook can be utilised by your team internally, for your ongoing work; tracking; and completion of the Index. It is not a requirement, nor does it need to be included with your Submission. It is an extra proviso for your internal collaboration, whether the Index will be completed by an individual or by group effort.

It includes three tabs:

  1. Grid: a consolidated breakdown of the points metrics within both the Foundation and Advanced Submission
  2. Foundation: for collation of work within this part of the HWEI Submission
  3. Advanced: for collation of work within this part of the HWEI Submission
  • Please note: This spreadsheet is not to be used as your Submission document.

HWEI Factsheet โ€“ HWEI As A Roadmap

The HWEI contains a set of criteria that empowers organisations to develop their LGBTQ+ inclusive service delivery strategies and action plans, through an evidence-based approach, guided by best practice insights from national and global trends. Organisations can use the criteria solely for planning or may also have their work audited through the Submission process.

This roadmap walks you through those key areas of LGBTQ+ inclusive service delivery practice; and is designed to help you set up a plan, using the HWEI Submissions criteria as a guide, stepping you through each section.

PiHW Toolkit โ€“ HWEI Submission Participation

This Toolkit provides insight to the benefits of HWEI participations, including case studies from participating organisations. It also provides advice regarding things to consider when completing your HWEI Submission, including resources provided, evidence provision, (suggested) detailed timelines, and more.
