What is the HWEI Survey?

The HWEI National Survey offers your organisation the opportunity to:

• Gather essential insights into the experiences and perceptions of employees, patients, and service users regarding LGBTQ+ inclusion in health and wellbeing services.
• Compare your results with national data from other participating organisations.
• Use these insights to refine and strengthen your LGBTQ+ inclusion strategies in healthcare and human services.

Who Can Participate?

Participation in the HWEI National Survey is exclusively available to Pride in Health + Wellbeing members as part of your membership benefits.  

To cover the cost of development, running, marking, data analysis, and reporting, Pride in Health + Wellbeing has created a ‘Digital and Index Participation (Lite)‘ membership tier, designed for organisations who only wish to participate in the HWEI Submission process, Staff Survey, or both. This membership tier will also give organisations access to some online, member-only publications, factsheets, video library, and LGBTQ+ inclusion eLearning module.

How to Get Started

Participating in the HWEI National Survey is simple and involves four key steps:

1. Request Your Unique Link
   Submit a request for your unique survey link and receive a comprehensive participation pack.
2. Obtain Organisational Approval
   Ensure your organisation is on board with participating in the survey.
3. Plan Your Communications Strategy
   Develop an internal plan to effectively promote the survey to employees, patients, and service users.
4. Share Your Link
   Distribute the unique link across your organisation to employees, clients, and key stakeholders.
