The Community of Practice brings together participants from across the health and wellbeing sector to discuss key themes of the LGBTQ+ inclusive service delivery journey and share activities, initiatives, and learnings that support leading practice. July Topic: LGBTQ+ Inclusive Feedback and Complaints Pathways How can organisations capture meaningful LGBTQ+ feedback and complaints in ways that build trust, minimise the risk of harm, and generate insights that support service improvement? Feedback and complaints processes play a critical role in improving services, identifying risks, strengthening trust, and driving continuous improvement. However, many organisations are still exploring how to ensure these pathways are accessible, culturally safe, and responsive to the experiences of LGBTQ+ consumers, clients, patients, and residents. Together, we'll explore:

Key design considerations for LGBTQ+ inclusive feedback and complaints processes
Capturing demographic information in ways that are safe, respectful, and meaningful
Building trust with consumers and signalling safety so people feel comfortable providing honest feedback
Understanding and responding to LGBTQ+ specific concerns while minimising the risk of harm or retraumatisation
Using feedback data to inform quality improvement, service design, staff development, and broader inclusion initiatives

Following a short presentation, participants will be invited to discuss their own systems, approaches, challenges, and learnings with peers from across the sector. The Community of Practice format is designed to encourage shared learning and practical discussion, recognising that many organisations are navigating similar opportunities and challenges.
